HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHY ARE PEOPLE SUCH FUCKING ASSHOLES

Further proof that in this country if you are poor and a person of color people will shit all over you and walk all over you because they don’t think you deserve a better life.

I bet if it was a white kid pulling this shit they’d be getting praise and accolades all over the place for being such a paragon of industry and self-sacrifice
not fucking spending the night in jail because they had to work to feed their siblings and do homework in between.
fuck everything

some ridiculous shit.

That is insane!

projectqueer:

Equalize is an organization that aims to educate music fans about LGBTQ issues and give them the tools to create positive change in their own communities. The organization was founded in 2009 after going to Warped Tour and finding that no queer organizations were represented in the social action area. The owner knew that they were not the only fan there that cared about equality, so they started the organization to pull together other people like them and our allies and to get people talking about these issues.

Fast forward three years later and we are finally on the verge of doing our first big stint with Warped!  However, they need your help! If Equalize can raise $2500 by June 24th, they will be able to talk to literally thousands of music fans during a week of Warped Tour on the east coast.

Can you donate to their fundraiser?  Spread the word!
The link to donate is: http://www.indiegogo.com/equalize

This is a photograph of my grandma & me as a baby. She recently passed away this February. I love and miss her a lot.

“Where else in cinema or a big film franchise is there a female character that is not just supplementary or additional or the pretty face. She’s a breakthrough, I think. Ron says at the beginning, “I don’t know if we’ll get through a day without Hermione”. She’s like the brains behind the whole operation. And she’s so integral to that trio and to Harry’s success. I think she’s a very important figure.”

Infographic: Celebrating Towel Day - May 25, 2012
Lemon.ly has a hoopy little infographic about Towel Day which falls on this Friday, May 25th.

If you don’t know much about Douglas Adams, the most important thing to know is that he wrote humorous and fun science fiction books. This May marks the 11-year anniversary of Adams’ death. Two weeks after his death, his fans decided to commemorate him by making May 25th, Towel Day, and it turns out Lemon.ly’s designer, Ana, is one of those fans.

Great work, Ana, and one should always know where their towel is.
